I’m heading home for the long holiday weekend tomorrow and I cannot wait. I haven’t been back since Christmas, which is too long for me. I look forward to decompressing and visiting with friends and family (and cheating on my healthy eating regimen).
I was looking for an appropriate picture for this post on Flickr and came across Elle Moss’ work. It’s quite lovely. Turns out, she has an Etsy shop where she sells prints of her photography. This one is titled get me away from here i’m dying. I’m not necessarily dying but, yeah, I’m due for a road trip with Beck. And the shoes on this girl look very similar to the ones I’ll be wearing tomorrow for my exit.
Sorry for the lack of Five Faves last week and this week. Hopefully I’ll post new ones next Thursday; however, I am hard at work on my new feature so I’ll do my best. Hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing weekend.
P.S. The question of the day: to Twitter or not to Twitter. Thoughts?
Sorry for the lack of posting this week. I’m off tomorrow morning to Disney World for a family vacation (“Real tomato ketchup, Eddie?” “Nothing but the best.”). I will have my computer with me; however, I’m not sure how much time I’ll have to post anything. My brother has us on a strict itinerary.
While I’m gone, please check out the blogs on my blogroll. They are sure to keep you entertained. See you soon.
…but not in an awful Armageddon kind of way. I’m heading down to the sunshine state for a long weekend to visit my sister + fam. This week has been heavy on intentions but light on posts. My bad. No Five Faves this time around. Besides, I only had two of five accumulated and these things shouldn’t be forced. On that note, I’ll be back next Tuesday night and the Columbus ice blankets best be melted by the time I return. Smell ya, winter.

Today is my last full day home for the holiday. As always, my time off has gone by way too quickly but I’m making the most of it. It’s 11:30 and I’m still in my pajamas and I don’t plan on getting dressed for at least another hour or so. I’m finally catching up on some blog reading while I update my parent’s computer and I’m overwhelmed by all the ideas that apparently surfaced while I was busy eating turkey. I’ll post them in the coming weeks but for now here are a couple of images from the portfolio of stylist Tanya Goodwin that I love (from mer mag via Desire to Inspire). Probably because they are both of seating and I plan on sitting on my butt for most of the day today.
I could use another week off, quite honestly, but Christmas vacation will be here soon enough. If someone could just deliver me a hot chai, I’d be set.
